The office is dirty, these people don’t care about customers, the service was terrible the seats in the bus were broken, dirty, there was not water in the toilet to flush it, the day we travelled was raining to the roof has a leak people were getting wet, Thank God I was able to travel but I will never use this service again, too bad I can’t post a picture I took. PS: mthe driver was rude and he is very unprofessional. WONDER company is terrible this is operate by Chinese people

I love the fact that the app finds CheapTickets however you have to enter your credit card number every time. You should at least be able to add your card number once to your profile in terms of payment method or seamlessly use Apple Pay or android pay by face recognition and click button.

I would love to rate it and use it but unfortunately all my tickets are bought through the google login on desktop which isn’t supported, right now, within the app. Until then I will use the mobile web app in the browser which thankfully works. Will update this review appropriately if that add that much needed login option

The app is good at compiling travel options, but the app doesn’t have a prompt to link my Google account to Wanderu. So I always end up opening the browser version of Wanderu to buy tickets. It’s a bit annoying you can’t log into the App using Google, but you can on the web

Don’t waste your time or your money with this service. They were totally unable/unwilling to take care of even a small erroneous booking. Personnel responsible for customer service were rude. If I could delete this app from even my history of prior downloads, I would. I will never, ever, ever use this service again, and neither should you.

The bus never showed and I'm having issues getting a refund!!

El que maneja la guagua, es un Sr.Brazileño que no te avisa a qué ciudad te aproximas, no puedes ni usar el teléfono para una llamada porque hasta te grita que te va a bajar de la guagua y todo, que es eso? Es una falta de respeto tremenda. La aplicación Wanderu SUPER BUENA, pero ese señor deberían llamarle la atención por ser tan grosero

With a friend we bought 2 bus tickets, one from NY to Boston and one from Boston to DC. Not only did those trips not exist, but we had to pay again for those trips.

Tried to get a refund/credit for my trip a few hours after my purchase but they didn’t even try to help me. The support team told me to contact the bus service and gave me a phone number that doesn’t work and an email which you won’t receive a reply back from. I just wanted a credit so that i can use it to purchase the next ticket. There is an option to cancel the trip but the button errors out every time you click on it.

Cheaper than the greyhound app but make sure you follow the directions if it say it gonna be at that location then be there if you at different locations thinking ur bus will come there good lucks u will miss ur bus and have to pay to reschedule ur ticket to next bus unless you already bought protection for ur trips but however it cheap thanks

This was the worst bus experience I’ve ever had. The bus literally had no AC and it was a hot day. Had to suffer for 5 hours on this musty old bus. It was only like $10 but not worth that

Every time I’ve booked a train or bus through wanderu, I get a confirmation email that I booked with wanderu BUT I NEVER GET MY ACTUAL TICKET!! why you gotta waste my time and money like that

I’ve never had to price shop &/ or perform searches for multiple cities/ stations . It’s great. I put my home address and my destination address, and get a list of different times, prices, carriers, stations/locations. It’s especially great if u don’t want to book 1yr in advance to avoid paying $300 for a $40 train ticket FYI. I never write reviews, but today I feel obligated. I had a problem that wasted my entire day & ended up being one of those automated actions on the bank’s end. The bank had no explanation. Apple (from my Apple Cash attempt), which is also related to my current money, not credit, no clue. The problem is still not rectified on the bank or the Apple Pay end, but Wanderu fixed it on theirs, so at least I won’t miss my daughter’s birthday —*********PLZ NOTE, my situation did NOT INVOLVE A COMPLETED TRANSACTION. I’m only explaining this b/c if ur transaction went through, apparently ur supposed to call the carrier n I don’t wanna repay them by having a bunch of people trying to change tickets they can’t control. My problem related to my bank screwing up & causing incomplete/duplicate transactions.

They had an Amtrak listing for 12:05 am and when I checked the status on the Amtrak site, there was no 12:05 on the 20th listed These people charged me, now when I ask for my refund they tell me to go thru Amtrak and we all know I’m not seeing my money ever again, please somebody send these people out of business. If there was any justice in this world, these people would be out of business

purchased a bus ticket a week before i was set to take off and never received my bus ticket. not even in my spam folder. going to need a refund because this is absurd. don’t buy tickets from wanderu

I just booked a trip and received nothing! No ticket , no confirmation

I don’t travel a lot, but need to go, from PA to NYC, for urgent matters, with an overseas consulate, and I wanted to go without having to drive, relying on either Greyhound, and/or Amtrak. After reading up on this app, I’ve decided to try it. Maybe there are technical (or human) issues, but it’s extremely unresponsive, it does whatever it wants to do, I could NOT figure anything out, NOR could I find anything, let alone book it! Moreover, The oh, so generalized FAQs, even in the area for “problems booking, and finding location”, there was NOTHING! Thank you for nothing. Am getting rid of it🤪

Love how easy so can book a trip with a few clicks

I made my account via single sign in with Google. The interface currently offers no option to sign into my own account. That makes the app much less convenient than the website to me as someone with an account, so I’m giving this a one star.

App is great but for those signing in another way than basic email the option isn’t even there. I got promotion emails saying try it out and I can’t even use it to its full extent.

Why is this app doesn’t allow you to log in or sign up through Gmail? I can log in to my account through the web but can’t do it through your app. It ridiculous

This app is really easy to use for last minute trips that are affordable thanks so much

I travel for work and Wanderu makes it easy to check multiple options/schedules at once. The only issue I face sometimes is with Amtrak and the ticket not sending through but the solution is to just copy the confirmation and pull up your ticket on the Amtrak site/app. Other than that this app is very useful and I recommend it.

As I made reservations for travel on a Flix bus the Wanderu app up charged me four times. The original price was below $100. After receiving messages that this route was having increasing demand the price ended up being $159. The booking took place within a couple hours of departure so I went along with the price increases. I booked the same route a few days later and again it was only a few hours before departure but the price remained steady at $89. The second time I was directly on the Flix website. I will never again pay for travel through Wanderu but I might use it to to find travel solutions and then go directly to those service providers’ websites.

I put my email down wrong and now I can no longer receive my ticket because the app does not allow you to change your email

I love this app for it’s convenience

It’s worth it! Even with all the problems with the app taken in consideration it’s worth it!

Easy to book trip

Try going to checkout on this app without payment processing failing once or twice because your ticket is now “unavailable” at the price it confirmed just 30 seconds ago. This app and the carrier partners are using a predatory pricing practice because they know you are about to purchase the ticket regardless, so what’s $5 more bucks to ya? The pricing changes are not driven by actual supply and demand. You are the lone demand and they have you by the neck to pay whatever the updated price is.

Sometimes fees appear at checkout but not unique to this app. Great way to plan bus traveling between cities. Has saved me in a pinch more than once

The app updated 4/25/24 and since then the login screen has become glitched out. Before it gave me the chance to sign in with gmail/facebook/iCloud and now it doesn’t show that option. It only shows me and email/password option. I am unable to reset my password since i normally sign in with gmail.

to anyone who travels frequently on a budget. i travel up and down the east coast often and have for years. now, i use this app to get my bus and train tickets every time. the app itself’s easy to use and designed well. it’s a great service and it’s free! i don’t know that i’ve ever written a review for an app before, but this one’s a gem!

Easy to use love the layout on the comparisons of prices. But can’t change the number of riders

Love this app! I use it literally all the time. I dont drive, but I travel often. I’ve used it for day trips…. Long and short trips….. trips with my daughter. Late and early trips. Last minute trips. This app is a lifesaver and it works in real time. Truly the google flights of ground transportation. I have been using this app for over 6 years and i don’t even have an alternate site. There’s no need 🤷🏽‍♀️

After this apps last update. I can’t Sign In using my Apple Account anymore. I can’t even sign up with my Apple account. I have tried making sure my iOS is up to date and even uninstalled/reinstalled the app.

Impossible to get a refund from when the adventure I booked was cancelled by the third party.

I thought it was quite and easy. Everything was organized and the app got straight to the point 👍

Make sure you have a copy of your tickets saved somewhere because the app may decide to refuse to show you your tickets when you're trying to board.

They are always late not just late hours late and when you try to call to find out how long the bus will be, customers service repeatedly hangs up the phone, they take your money and there’s no one to contact to complain, or get any type of service or answers. Most definitely won’t be using them again horrible service.

Please ! Do not book from this third party they are terrible at getting back with emails if anything happens to the bus or of it being delayed, etc, which occurs most of the time. Just save ur time and don’t use this.
